Automated Garbage and Recycling

These include a new, 95-gallon County-issued roll cart for garbage, a second 95-gallon roll cart for mixed recyclables, and a reduction in the frequency of garbage collection from twice a week to once a week.

Bulky Item Collection:

GOOD News.. Bulky items will be automatically collected every Thursday.

Please do not put them by the curb until Wednesday NIGHT

New Water Enforcement Team's on Lookout for Irrigation Violations

Effective March 1, 2020 to November 5, 2020 Mandatory lawn watering restrictions are two (2) days a week.

Even numbered houses may water may water on Thursday/Sunday

Odd numbered houses may water on Wednesday/Saturday

Do not water between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm

No more than one hour per zone

First time violators will receive a warning through a door hanger notice and by certified mail.

Repeated violators will be subject to a fine of $25 per violation. A violator can appeal to a Hearing Officer after a written request is submitted and a $25 filing fee is made.

Reminders for your curbside collection

The following materials can be put in your new

95 Gallon bin for recycling:

Don't forget to recycle your junk mail and office paper, but remember our current recycling processing equipment is not equipped to accept shredded paper. Due to the size, the small pieces of shredded paper fall through the screens and conveyors and get mixed in with residue and reject materials.

The paper recycling mills will reject loads with contaminated with paint, oil grease, or food (such as pizza boxes) should be placed with regular household garbage.

Paper Towel Tubes, along with boxes used for cereal, tissues, and shoes are made from paper known as pasteboard, paperboard, chipboard or linerboard. We want these items in your New Bin
